Luke 12:22-34 - Seek First the Kingdom

Jesus explains that there is no need to fear or be anxious for your basic necessities. He says that if you seek first the Kingdom of God, all these things shall be added to you.  

Luke 12:8-21 - Where Are Your Treasures?

Jesus uses a parable to illustrate covetousness. In the parable, a rich many has too many crops and must build himself a bigger barn.

Luke 12:1-7 - Brought to Light

Jesus explains how everything done in the dark will eventually be brought to the light.

Luke 11:45-54 - Receiving Correction

Jesus continues his rebuke of the Pharisees but puts His focus on lawyers of the law and they aren't able to receive it because their hearts have been hardened.

Luke 11:37-44 - Pharisees

Here continues is his rebuke of the Pharisees. He talks about how they will be held accountable for all the prophets that were sent from God but were martyred. They will answer for their rejection of God's Word.

Luke 11:29-36 - Recognizing Jesus

In these verses Jesus rebukes the Pharisees because their hardened hearts wouldn't let them recognize the truth of who Jesus was.

Luke 11:24-28 - Obedience

Jesus says that those who hear the word of God and keep it are blessed. When you strive to live a righteous and holy life, you will see your relationship with God reach new heights.

Luke 11:14-23 - A House Divided

Jesus casts out a demon and is accused of doing so by the power of Beelzebub. Jesus uses a parable to explain that a house divided cannot stand.

Luke 11:1-13 - Persistence in Prayer

Jesus goes through the prayer known as "Our Father" and also uses a parable to explain the importance of persistence in your prayer life.

Luke 10:38-42 - Mary and Martha

This is the true story of Mary and Martha and how they were preparing for the visit of Jesus. Martha was preoccupied trying to make everything perfect while Mary was content to sit at his feet.
